A few years back there was a rental garage out Ringwood/ Bayswater way i think, not sure if they still operate though.
Hi guys, thought I might ask here as googling hasn't gotten me anywhere. Basically I'm looking for somewhere to work on my Landy as the place I live at doesn't even have a driveway let alone space to work.
I'm in Richmond Melbourne so a space somewhere in the east would be ideal. Does anyone know of any kind of rentable garage areas that wouldn't mind the odd oil stain etc ? Doesn't have to be anything too swish ! If it had a roof or was somewhere you could leave the old girl jacked up overnight that would be perfect. Always worked on my Landys before I came out to Oz and I'm loathe to pay a mechanic to do what I can do myself !
Any tips would be great, thanks!

LandRover ownership and inner suburban living is an unworkable combination if you prefer to do your own maintenance.Move out a bit.
If you don't come up with anything and were prepared to camp over for a day or two during operations you are welcome to do your repairs at my place in Dixons Creek.Plenty of space but nothing undercover unfortunately, save for a large truck tarp that could be rigged up. There's even an offroad course you can use to give yourself even more repairs to do afterwards.
Bill.

You might want to look at the THOR COURT Storage Complex at keilor near WRR. We have vehicles there and there very reasonable with there terms and conditions.
Pleany of undercover storage there. SEE JULIE
Hi mate, no I'm down the opposite corner of Richmond - Bunting St. There's two others nearby, a nice looking '04/'05 110 and an older County. Great fun parallel parking on Richmond one-way 'alleys' eh?!
I'll let you know if I find somewhere good to work. Only have my Defender a month so going through the usual routine that I go through when I get one. Next up - all new shocks and springs. I shudder to thing what MCLR would charge just to do that!
Have a chat with Clarkie and see if he knows of somewhere...
