Ebay listings are now free IMO. List it for a high price with "best offer", you will find out what people think it is worth. No charge to you unless you accept the offer. Start with a price somewhat lower than the new price, depending on condition.

My question was prompted by reading through the instructions for the new markets, I noticed that it said that EOI's weren't allowed. I've actually found an item on ebay that sold some months back that's a pretty close match so once I've taken some photos I'll have a crack at the markets.
I've tried not to give any clues as to what it is as I didn't particularly want the thread moved/deleted or to get suspended. Thanks for letting the question stay in play Ron. JP
I'm not an expert on parts prices, but if you want to PM me I'll happily let you know what I think.
Perhaps others can do the same?
Yeah mate, feel free to pm me if you want, I buy and sell a fair bit of Landy stuff, mostly on ebay. I'd be more than happy to offer my opinion.
Cheers.
Richard.
Thanks guys, will pm in the morning. Ron, is there any chance of having a section devoted to What is it worth? I'm thinking something along the lines of the poster asking a simple question in the format "What is .... worth" and people responding just with a dollar figure. If it could be set up so people couldn't see who was asking or answering would that stay within the forum rules? Just a thought.
Ahh, don't ask me. I'm the policeman, not the lawmaker!
Ask Incisor, it's his forum - I am merely his servant.

Unlikely.
but experience has shown that no-one ever does - it ALWAYS becomes an extended disagreement over value, because most people don't "know".
Its' worth whatever the market will bear at the time.
I understand your thought, and can see some merits in the idea but unfortunately this would be impracticable, if not impossible, to implement. If it could be set up so people couldn't see who was asking or answering would that stay within the forum rules? Just a thought.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
