    Can't grow your own?

Goat tastes almost the same as lamb, and the buggers would probably be happy to eat your pile of landie spares when they run out of grass/weeds to eat.

We grow our own geese and ducks - they taste great!

Why not start here and make good use of the Google Scholar button, I'm not your mum.

Fortunately the Deer, kangaroo and rabbit populations have recovered from being virtually decimated in the bushfires a few years back, so when the crunch comes I'll still be able to stick to my meat and 2 veg (bowl of chips with tomatoe sauce) diet.
And regards meat allergies. On my last trip to Vietnam I discovered that my stomach is allergic to dog meat, pigs uterus, penis and testicals, Porcupine and palpitating heart of Cobra.Still Monkey and Rodent brain casserole was quite palatable

There are some great deals to be had from buying in bulk from a wholesale butcher or even online there are a few farmers in Gippsland who started their own abattoir and packing house and delivery service and it's still cheaper than the supermarkets and better quality and profits go direct to the farmers.

Oh and found these for NSW Big River Beef

One for the WAians Home Delivered Lamb in Perth, Fresh Meats Delivered, Order Fresh Lamb Online, Buy Meat Online Perth :: Farm Fresh Lamb Company

I'm pretty sure there will be one for the SAians some where, but thoses lucky NTians get Emu, Croc, Camel and all the other good stuff so there might be hard to find one up there, and in the ACT, there is too much methane in the air there so no beef is allowed there until the pollies stop making promises.

Oh and I do know 3 people with a real meat allergies, our exchange student we had when I was a kid couldn't eat beef, it made him violently ill, my sister is also allergic to beef, she gets exma (SP?) and a mate can't eat chicken, it makes him violently ill which is sometimes really good fun by feeding him chicken sausages and then watching him bend over for a few hours later while we drink his Bourbon lol.

    Cheers Casper

Grow my own? Most things around here seem quite happy to grow themselves without any assistance from me.And if they are are unfortunate enough to be on my land when I'm feeling a bit peckish, well then they are 'my own' There is a large herd of feral goats that range the area, but so far the adjacent propertys have enough blackberry bushes to keep them from wandering in to my place. Not keen on duck but the wife is and used to grow both geese and duck back in Vietnam, and is keen to start again.

No, you're not. My mum knows better than to post up something they dragged of the internet. Did you even read that paper? Nuke strategy 1945 - 1960? That's your 'over whelming' research?

You may be surprised to know, there are people in the world that can do research without google - you are obviously not one of them.

There are also people in the world who understand military-political strategy without google - you're not one of them either.

So far I'm not whelmed, not even close. Keep trying though, I'm sure google will provide.

You must put in the whole saying otherwise the pimpletowner won't get it. Its like the pot calling the kettle black. Is the full saying used as a polite way of saying hypocrisy.

Yep, understand the saying. Wondered what the post was supposed to mean.

You really shouldn't project ignorance onto others, it makes you look a right peanut.
