the cheap ebay chainsaws yours still going?

I couldn't find the thread in the search, but a couple years ago some of us bought these cheap $49 plus $50 delivery chain saws, "BAUER AG"a husky copy, well after a couple years of use I'm impressed that it just keeps going. Apart form the puddle of chain oil that leaks out when stored unless I drain it. It still starts on 2-3 pulls .

How are the others who bought them going?

Nothing abnormal about that, my Husky 350 does that too. So I no longer store it in the carry bag unless it is drained.

Never having owned a chain saw before I did realise they do that. They do make a mess.

The PPE was a joke, I didn't get a Helmet, but elcheapo ear muffs, and gloves and some dodgy looking glasses.
still have the file and tools and the 2 stroke/petrol ratio plastic measuring bottle.
The chain has been resharpened a couple of times on the optional extra electric sharpener. I reckon the chain "Carlton" that came with it doesn't stay sharp long and stretches quickly . Might replace it soon.

I had to put a new plug in mine! After two years of use the spark plug died.

Mine looks like a Stihl 038 copy and is called a Bahramshahr.
Now It's half way worn through its first chain and still does every thing I need it to do .

    Cheap Chinese Chainsaw Review

Mine also loses its oil in storage, but I cranked it up just this afternoon after no use for 3 months & it started 3rd pull
Doesnt look like its pics in the above thread now though

Not a bad quality bar & chain either.

I got the tree lopper and it is still going fine. Bought the hardware $99 chainsaw and it also still cuts ok. struggles with the realy big stuff but then is'd not supposed to cut things that big.
