Ask nicely and Lotz-a-Landies will trip down to the mosque and pick up an RPG for you.

They'll probably come around and fire it for you, it appears that nothing is more exciting to middle eastern men than firing off a couple of RPG or AK rounds!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Come to my place in summer. Then you will hear the sounds of helicopters. Gets to be a bit like a scene from apocalypse now. Would be quieter if they did it the old fashioned way and just waited till they could see smoke in the distance.

I would not have thought that it would be power line inspections. My son does this for a job and they cover NSW. I queried him when he got this job as to why they don't use choppers. His reply "cost"

Plus the fact that the major powerlines run west of Helensburgh.

Having trained on rotary wing and know several owners, what you say is no doubt the most stupid so far this year!
    Congrats!

I am sure that bussy1963 was talking tongue in cheek and was not serious. I read his post that way. I am sure no one on this forum would be stupid enough to actually do it.

I don't know, just by saying what he said its a crime!
Had laser pointer in my cockpit twice on approach just b4 sunset, had a crossbow aimed at us whilst doing aerial photography and some punk threw an apple into tail rotor while hovering at airfield after refuel to settle machine down as wind changed very quickly!

And I was just training, imagine what the pros experience!
