Of course it is. It's just the size of the heaps that changes.

We now have to have another two licenses, one for mechanical plumbing, and the other for refrig/AC,through QBCC.

Nothing seems to have changed, except they empty our pockets with the fees.

That is on top of electrical ticket and ARC fees.

Queensland, poor one minute, wealthy the next, on the back of Licensing Tradespersons.

With all the miss management that goes on,and the tipping of huge amounts of $$$ down the drain, they will always be out of cash

I see we now have speed cameras built into the flashing speed signs in every school zone, more revenue collecting.

Anyway this is a topic for CA

Now that could be a good thing, I saw that on TV the other night. If folk wish to speed through those zones then they really really deserve to get done big time. Put yourself in the shoes of a Parent that has just had a kid bowled over by some Richard Cranium. There are some really dozy parents out there @ Drop off & Pickup times. You know the ones, the Me Me Me types.

When at primary school yonks ago I witnessed a Bourne truck (Contract Carrier to SAGASCO) loaded with Coke (no not that sort) from the residue from the Gas Works. Must have been a few tons on the back & a big Truck to begin with.
. No Flags, Monitors or Lights back then but crossing lines & signage was in.

A young girl off the Tram & trying to cross Taylors Rd (now South road) on her way to school was hit.

Never did find out the outcome for sure but the Grapevine said Deceased but it did leave a lasting memory for me.

Then another kid got hit by a Tram car but that is not part of this Post.

Have never looked into CA. My choice.

Drivers of huge rigs & not so huge rigs, Bus Drivers, Train drivers etc must live on their nerves.

I need a new and separate NSW licence apparently.
Medical and industrial gases are now regulated from March, FFS.

I may still ending up pulling coffees in my mates cafe yet! 😲😂

Caution Rick, you may find you need a License for even that as you would be involved with "Pressure Vessels.

So you are still doing the Fridgie stuff......

The problem is if you go pull coffees or whatever and dont keep paying for the licences, and let them lapse,it is usually a huge job to get them back,if you need them again.

Who in their right mind would wish to return to being a Fridgie these days? Rules for this, rules for that etc etc etc etc.
Trying to find parking just alone for some of those old jobs would likely send you aound the bend plus dealing with some of those I want, I want, owners.

    You know what I mean.
