If it were me, I’d do that and quietly stash away the “insurance” money for a new compressor while you wait to see how long it lasts. Like most things, if you have the insurance there you’ll never need it. Worst case you lose the gas and are up for a new compressor, but while you wait you still have a usable vehicle. At the end of the day it’s a 15% premium on the cost of a new pump. I’d take that gamble.

I was told also that the Bank staff are fitted out with Tailor made uniforms of a nice Camouflage design.
Caltex stuff bought by the 4 gallon drum. That might be a tad too much for you unless you plan on doing this stuff for a hundred years.
