Got him in the end, never answers his bloody phone....

Anyway,he said, make sure the rope is 1/2 inch or bigger, which meant another trip to Bunnings.

They must be sick of us there,we got the pipe and it was wrong size, then we needed another cable, then the corro was a bit short, but they didnt have any more,as you can see in the pic.

Anyway, they paid Charlie Ash,it cools well,so out the door as fast as we could go,before it stops.

Just got the one pic, will frame it and hang it on the wall at the workshop, although we are running out of room, probably have to get rid of a few of the Peter Brock pictures.

Anyway,Yes Des you are correct, the boys sent me the pic they got from somewhere.....
Thought it would make a good story

There’s a split on a building next to my local Bunnings that is installed in a similar fashion. While it is on a wall bracket the piping and cabling are just the same - it makes me chuckle every time I drive past it.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

As3000 is irrelevant I see . the sin of tying the wires to the pipes, why could't the feed and interlinks be in conduit the whole length? Its always been illegal tie wires to the pipes.

Correct and dropping a size for the interconnects when the are not fused in the unit,we see it all day.

Couldn't resist having a Shufti at this again.

Some noteworthy observations from a once hairy arsed boy.

The knots are all wrong for that installation.

Combination of Rope Sizes seem a bit risky unless you use some Sheet Bends (for joining ropes of unequal thickness) of which I notice are not visible. Even Cuppa could do better. If it needs servicing & you undo all the rope work to enable a panel to be removed, it will fall arse over head off the wall. Not a good look although the cabinet corner already appears like it has had a ding.
Not wishing to be too critical though I notice you have situated the unit over a well drained wall so no reason at all to run separate drains. It will probably grow grass (no, not that type ) a metre high & cover the air inlets & the magnificent Installation, from public scrutiny.

Otherwise, quite an acceptable & neat installation which is a credit to to you & The Boys & which may comply with Govt. Guidelines.. Or not.

    Very much TiC.
