I hope they don't come back for a warranty claim.
You knew the earth was round and not flat back then?

    Of course Rick. Didn't everybody?

We knew if we didn't accept that as gospel some clown in the future would start up a Society denying that & disagreements would go on & on & On & on & on for forbloodyever.

    No, Really.

    Apprenticed to Noah ?

Bought an adze with your first month's pay?

    Adze, ADZE!

Do you remember post WW2 that was to come, when you couldn't buy anything?

Well it was the same back then when we were trying to start a Zoo & kick a bit of humanity into gear, so Adzes were in short supply. All we had were our worn fingernails & used your mates head as a hammer.
Some clever dick had a Leatherman Knife but there was a queue a mile long to get it & take it in turns so we could earn our keep.

Not sure it was the right thing to do seein' as how the manor has turned out in the bloody mess it seems to be in.
Gotta go, got a couple of chooks to feed.

Got in just after midnight, called out around 4:30. Two jobs, one after the other.
    This game sucks at times.

At least I have today off, asked the young bloke to cover for me so I can have a drink and relax.

    He's pretty good.
As a second year the service manager was gong to cut him, since then my Seth Efrican workmate and I arrived and the dead wood has left. Jeff reckons he's now so far in front of the 4th year's in Coffs it isn't funny.

He rang about two hours ago, had a low liquid alarm on one receiver on the trans critical CO2 system we look after.
It had me a bit tricked, the FTE receiver liquid level was ok??

Gave him a few things to check and he hasn't rung back, so fingers crossed!

Oh, and I've taken tomorrow off, too Des! One for the fridgies

Not heard any loud explosions in your vicinity as yet then?

You must have taught him well.

Hark. Is that the sound of the local Fire Service on the way to some hazard at the mo?

"Bugger" says Rick "the bastard has pressed the wrong reset."

Sounds like a good time to retire, Paul.

Oh hang on, you'll need the proceeds from this job to retire on. "Round & round we go, where it ends nobody knows"
