I dont think the gas canisters for them are available anymore.

    Stolen from another site.

More than likely my shed. That looks like my very first torch/lamp sans the cable tie of course & probably cost 4 weeks wages..

Where did one store the spare Jets & the Pricker? Oh yes in the base which had a brass cover over it. Remember?

When new they were supplied with a ridiculously short rubber hose which meant you were breathing in the crap mix of gasses when your head was in the Display case with it.

I think I may lost mine when the ARK hit a rough patch & it went overboard in the Red Sea somewhere. I think mine was a Frigidaire Lamp but that one seems to be a copy pf a Frigidaire. Was it a "Hudson" "Heldon" or summat?

    Ah memories.

Read down a bit, seems it wasnt just Fridgies that helped destroy the Ozone layer.

I knew Brock did it on a hot lap of Bathurst,in a Sierra, but seems many were doing it.One would have to be naive to think it hasnt been done many times before.

Minus 20 degrees charge air is a pretty good effort.
