    Wot sort of gekko?

Spiders or flying insects would be my bet.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

The best way to ensure the gecko is disposed of in a humane manner, deactivate your alarm unlock the doors and placing a claymore mine on each of the front seats, now admittedly this is not a perfect solution as it can cause a certain amount of scuffing to the dashboard and their have been reports that sometimes the windscreen can get scratches on it.
Apart from that it could work well!

I did consider locking the wife's ratdog in there overnight, but I'd probably end up having to sleep out there with it!

Re Gecko-Swatting be aware we also have a native species Gehyra dubia, which looks not dissimilar to the introduced Asian house gecko. Doesn't have the spines along the tail. Both are quite distinct from the various velvet gecko species.
Not that I am promoting this as a solution, but I have seen geckos come to a very unfortunate and sticky end attached to fly paper.

I found one between the barn door of the 101 and the rear frame, he's not too well, but I inherited with the truck so I think its proper that he remains!

My alarm hasn't gone off for a week so maybe it's moved on. I have a plan for a gentle trap to try to catch it this weekend and relocate to a safer place.

Place some money on a container on the ground outside the car.

    Leave the door open.

    .........

    .........

Gordon (Gecko) will come strolling out of the car.
