andy,
We have been known to feed frames through the garden shredder.
Can turn a couple of nallies of frames into mince in minutes.
Hose out when done?
Just another option perhaps

Any of you mob use electric meat grinders????
I save ALL of my waste bait and fish offal and use a hand grinder to mince it up for frozen berley blocks,it works really well.
Im considering buying an electric machine as my old hand grinder is SLOW!!!
Im looking at something like this, NEW COMMERCIAL 150KG/HR ELECTRIC MEAT MINCER STAINLESS STEEL BENCH TOP GRINDER | eBay
Would also use it to make REAL sausages.
Thoughts please.

I used to have a 3 phase mincer which we used to make our burley, during mullet season I would come home with a wheelie bin full of frames and offal etc, semi freeze it and mince it through with chook pellets and a variety of other "crap"......... geez the ex missus used to hate those afternoons.... yea get one, they work well and you can mince up with other ingredients etc
Andy
I went the other way! Back to a hand mincer...
Gives me more exercise!!!!
Will be mounted out on my new 'cleaning station' I'm building next to the shed.

I make a heap of snags with a mate ile find out what brand mincer he uses half frozen pork fat and venison is no worrys for this mincer whole boned out roo legs take no time at all
Some of it yes the roos I hit normally get the legs woped off for the dog can't see the point of wasting it really
The one in that link looks like our old mincer that was second hand when we got it and went ok except all the blades and plates were stuffed I'm sure it would be fine when new. Ours came from a commercial kitchen and had seen lots of work
