    Wheres the homepage gone?

Perhaps there was an announcement or site update board I have missed?

The homepage with summary of recent posts from across the boards was an easy way to see whats going on. I cant handle looking in from http://www.aulro.com/afvb/ - so many boards to click through.. its doing my head in.

Whens the easy to digest splash/summary front page coming back

Meh, so long as "quick links > today's posts" works, I don't mind.

quick links will do for now... hadn't noticed that.

With the front page I liked the most recent set of posts showing the first few lines of content.

    Why did it go?

Wait for it! The format on the next page. I accept other like it, but I couldn't see any sense in showing elements of the last few posts - each to their own, and we are all entitled to an opinion (last time i checked).

Sure there's nothing wrong with the forum index page, but that was always there - http://www.aulro.com/afvb/ hasn't changed as far as I can see. I found the front page useful and welcoming - my opinion.

I thought perhaps it was being improved.. hopefully that is the case, if not then I better update my bookmarks because there's no point arriving at a page that says 'You will be taken to the main forum home page shortly.'
