I was talking about the boring old men who served in WW11, & beyond,& some who did not come back. [ for this generation, ] It seems some of the modern youth , most of whom have been given all they want, [ and your flippant comment suggests that] have a self centred attitude. Thankfully, I know plenty who have not. However, from a boring old fart to immature chaps, just grow up. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
I do, I get along well with alot of old farts, there are plenty of old farts whom are not boring old farts who whine about some young guys having fun
You've moved from cfa to world war 1? I'm struggling with the relevance
I run a business, I pay tax, support a family with what will be soon 3 children, I now donate to the community a fair bit, there is alot of old farts, like really old farts I've done necessary electrical repairs, for free, including paying for parts summing hundreds of dollars, to help them out
I think your accusations are unwarranted
So just because your old gives you the right to generalise and not show any respect to anyone unless they are old?
Respect is to be earned in my opinion. I know 3 year olds that have more respect to others than some 50+ year olds that i know.
In the first video is people who enjoy challenging driving. and driving for driving not the destination. the second i see as drivers driving to a destination and enjoying the challenging driving along the way. 2 different sports in my view?
My thoughts are....
Ha, ha ,ha. Another great thread making me LMFAO, I love this forum. A proper old school young v old argument erupted seemingly from nowhere. Youngsters in uninsured vehicles dead set on destroying the bush and riding rough shot over all that is good to 'rock and roll music', old men returning from the Pacific theatre of WWII having fought gallantly to retain our freedom to drive a Prado, classic. Just remember Bob, in a war of attrition the youth have one key advantage.
I liked the first video best, but it paled when compared to the entertainment that followed.
Ian.
