Lionel and Paul, I know you are busy, but have you had time to take some photo's??
Oops, silly me, only reread your post Lionel, you do have some piccies.
Hello Ho Har's,
Thanks for your thoughts - yes I am back on air after being without power for around 25 hours. Bloody good to have electricity again. We are dry and only the bottom part of our paddock got flooded. I have some photos of Lake Land Rover to post up later on. One of the spare parts Land Rovers got damp toes - up to touching the bottom of the differential.
The people in parts of Bargara and Burnett Heads are a lot worse off.
The low lying areas of Bundaberg that were hit twice over the 2010-2011 Christmas New Year period went under yesterday afternoon. The forecasters are predicting higher levels of flooding in town since happened back in 2010-2011. It will be run off from the river catchment coming into a already - burst river system where the river naturally broadens out around Bundaberg.
I would also like to thank Paul (Pop058) for dropping around this morning. Much appreciated Paul.
Well tonight here overlooking Lake Land Rover should be a lot more pleasant than last night!
My thoughts are with everyone who is going through the wild weather now - take care and stay safe.
Kind Regards
Lionel

Look out all your new south welsh men and women it's now heading your way at a fast rate of knots. The rain and wind in it is unbelievable.I heard on the news tonight that it could reach as far south as Sydney.I hope the area around the Warrumbungles gets some to douse the bush fires.
So batten down the hatches. It's looks like your turn now.
Cheers,
John.
Hello Ausfree,
I will post the photos up soon as I sort out some technical difficulties. I have a new phone and I have to figure out to do it. It is not a smart phone but it seems to be smarter than me. My old phone came with a cable which let you download everything on to a computer - the new phone does not seem to have that option. You know how technology keeps improving....
Kind Regards
Lionel
rain for this week.
tuesday(i think) 20mm in a storm which ran the creek after being very dry and sad looking
sunday at 9am 23mm
monday at 9am 23mm
the creek hasnt changed yet but the rain is a little bit heavier this morning so if it stays like that or gets heavier then it should run the creek maybe enough to stop us crossing very little wind at the moment
Mandatory evacuation of North Bundaberg just announced, so that's serious.
