Pretty irrelevant (in Australia) article IMHO.
Who cares what 37000 yanks "think" is a problem with their car? All bar the top couple had a problem with EVERY car sold. Sooks.

I have had plenty of problems with my Land Rover....but this is because my Land Rover gets an good, solid hiding off-road once a month.

All statistics like this need to be taken contextually.

So you are taking notice of it after all???

I find it amusing every time LR comes in at the bottom of a reliability survey all the apologists come out of the woodwork to claim the results are wrong or irrelevant.

The J D Power survey again.. And another misleading headline. Again.

Every year this happens. J D Power has nothing to do with "dependability". Its owner complaint driven.

All it tells you is LandRover have had a number of owner responses. Could be anything. Not that long ago, Mercedes Benz was bottom of the pile coz one model had key fob issues.

J D Power is only good for subsequent misleading headlines.

    A load of BS...

If they did the same survey in Australia, the story would be very different I think. We have around 100 new Commodores in our fleet, and over a third of those have been back to the factory with a complaint of some description. Some of them serious, most not, but on a survey like that, they would all be counted. If you used that style of data collection, then I can prove that over a third of all new Commodores are unreliable, even though anly a handful have been off the road for more than a day...
