Sidewinder for me, no issues, managed 12 tyres in under 10min and all 18 up to 32-35 was a bit hot to the touch but otherwise no issues
I've still got my ABR sidewinder and it still works great - didn't hear what happened to stallie with his, but I use mine regulalry for checking and pumping up all the tyres on everything at home - car, caravan, and 3 4WD's.
These have been selling for 8 years now - the new Mark 5 is just over your budget at $220.00 but not by much, I've been very happy with mine and on independent compressor tests it comes out very well with much better airflow than compressors much more expensive. - Compressor MK5

Love the life you lead, you only get one go round
I have the same and it is just awesome............ 150l per minute, don't even think about doing pushbike tyres with one.
Bit bulky to cart around in the case IME, probably should be permanently mounted somewhere.
They'll come up again on the Aldi Father's day W/E sale for $99. Get in the queue............. most punters are only after the roll out side awning IME.
cheers, DL
This old thread popped up searching for a new compressor, my Big Red compressor (Thomas Pumps) has died after 24yrs, because it's lasted this long, I think I'll get a rebuild kit, at around $100 AU + Postage from the US, it's worth it I think.
Cheers Baz.

Seems reasonable. Not sure what you would get to equal it for that $$
Been thinking of one of these for the OKA. Big tyres...

With those big tyres the twin blue tounge maybe a good option.

Tins I've been running a Boss PX-07 compressor in the Oka for 15 years now, there are quite a few Oka's running them. Make sure it comes with the steel braided hose off the head as they can melt a normal hose.
I also ran one in the previous vehicle which had CTIS and 37's for over 10 years, as the system was split into front and rear it was quite capable of inflating two 37 x 12 tyres at once.
What are you using the compressor for? If its only to top up and check tires, why buy a big expensive compressor.. I purchased a cheap crappy ozito throw away battery compressor a few years back. Its nothing short of brilliant. I would never attempt to inflate from flat (or almost flat) 4wd tires with it. But top ups? Its that I used now (and there is a big compressor sitting in the shed right beside me most of the time when I'm using it). Its not fast, but I just wander around all the cars in the yard (and mowers, tractors, trailers etc) punch in how much air I want in the tires and walk away. When hear it stop, I move it to another tire.
Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Inflator / Deflator - Skin Only - Bunnings Australia
its also an inflator (high volume air pump ... I've never tried this). and oh, it can plug into a power point (well a 240volt plug falls out the bottom of it sometimes).
Every cheap 12volt plug in type compressor I've ever owned ... will burn out before it can pump up a flat tire. This one does it though ... and still works.
