yeah it bothers me too, they are in the order I bought the cars over a 12 year time span. Might have to get them swapped!

I'm investigating custom plates atm, but the cost is kind of killing it.
So many more things I could do with the money.
If I got them though, they'd be Td5 MPT
    Cheers

I'm very conflicted and spend too much time pondering this.

I want some plates but the cost is killing me too, also there is some other guilt. There is a tut tutting wowser inside like the voice of some long gone presbyterian -great-great-grandmother back in Scotland horror struck at doing something fun with money.

The car was an extravagance for me and somehow I want to finish the job off.

The standard plates I have commence with 1EAR, which is kind of cool because I had a perforated ear drum when I collected it.

I'd like to have something to do with D4, but that means I could never have a D5, or D6! One thing is for certain, grandmother or no, I couldn't part with the plates having bought them and buy a new set for the next new car.

    would "MPT TD5" work?

in SA that would be $180 once off only!

I was looking at DFNDR1 but things are too tight at the mo to justify it!

    if you go to
    http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/ezypl...au/WebContent/
you can design plates and see if theyre available...I have been having a bit of fun with it..

    for example in SA hue166, def130, inch80, thetd5, thetd4 and thetd1, serie5, leaky1, oldr80, oldr88 etc, also oily80, oily88 and range 4 are all still recorded as available!
    but disco1, disco2, disco3 and disco4, def110, range 1,2 and 3 all are taken
    (REMLR 235/MVCA 9) 80" -'49.(RUST), -'50 & '52. (53-parts) 88" -57 s1, -'63 -s2a -GS x 2-"Horrie"-112-769, "Vet"-112-429(-Vietnam-PRE 1ATF '65) ('66, s2a-as UN CIVPOL), Hans '73- s3 109" '56 s1 x2 77- s3 van (gone)& '12- 110
