Thread: 1996 Blackhawk Disaster

The aftermath of that led to the formation of the "SAS Resources Fund" by some WA citizens.

My wife assisted in setting up and serves on the board of its sister organisation the "Navy Clearance Diver Trust". Only 12 months old and already, I believe, providing assistance to 2 families.

A good friend of mine lost his father in that accident, RIP.

My thoughts and respect go out to those involved.
