Ive just dragged out the mountain bike (funny how 6km on that can kill me far more than double distance walking, must be something to do with the headwind I get every time no matter which way I go). 1km on the orbitrek is even worse
Thought a supported weight set type thing (rather than me trying free weights) would be ideal as a finisher. Had a couple narrowed down and one looks far more extensive than the other though it is cheaper

I wouldn't buy either of these machines and would advise you to stay away from any peck deck machines, as they have a high potential for injury to beginners because of the poor anatomical position of the shoulder, and are used by intermediate and advanced weight lifters.I refuse to have one in my PT studio as there are so many exercises that isolate the chest better.
The first thing I would like to ask is What do you hope to achieve by buying an exercise machine or starting weight training?
Is your goal weight loss, fitness or building strength?
Have you ever used weight equipment before?
The answers to these questions lead to more questions.
From your other posts in this thread you stated that you don't start eating until brunch. This is a no no for losing weight, you need to fire up the metabolism as soon as you get up. My suggestion is to have breakfast while your hubby is toasting his back and eat something (containing a protien source) every three hours and your body will start to burn the fat real quick.
