    Agree

I support Aussie teams fully. I have all the kits in Aussie , rugby , football , cricket.

I do support Australian teams fully UNLESS they are playing England then I support England

I love this country but for 35 years of my life I lived in the uk and to everyone here says I sound like a pom even if everyone in the UK says I sound Aussie

Reads, I'm the same as you.

If my mates are still going to call me a Pom and give me grief when England lose, then they can't be surprised when I support England.

That said, I always support Australian in everything as long as they're not playing England. I even barracked for the Wallabies against the Lions (can't bring myself to support the Irish and the Welsh, it's just weird).

Back to last night though....WOW....just WOW.

Some of the best reverse swing bowling I've seen for years from Jimmy Anderson, followed by some of the worst bowling and tactics I've ever seen by an International side. bowling long-hops and really awful short balls when it should have been line and length. Captain Cook and Steve Finn have a lot to answer for and I hope Cookie leads with a Captain's knock tonight.

Can't take anything away from the kid though...what a wonderful innings. Lovely strokes, lovely timing, great shot selection and he looked like he was under no pressure at all. Well done, lad.

Shaping up to be a great test match.....if England can put up a lead of 250 to 300, I reckon the game will be in their favour...but not much in it.

Wonderful effort by Agar and Hughes and Smith also did well (justifying his inclusion ahead of Warner). The rest of the highly-paid Aussie batsmen should take a compulsory pay cut for their failures, I reckon. Maybe they should be put on an incentive scheme for results - the higher their score the more they get paid. Then if they failed it would cost them money.
Tonight should be great - no work tomorrow so I'm planning to park myself in front of the box and flip between the cricket and the Tour De France.
Wife won't be impressed, but you get that.

    .
Probably no surprise that the batsmen most likely to fail at test level are playing a lot of T20, or 50 over cricket. Totally different beasts, all. Bob
