On a quick look they do seem quite similar, but if you look carefully the second one is quite different, the drive for the second one comes from a drum between the first and second and third and fourth wheels which sits on the tyres and drives them from the tyres. There is anothe clearer uTube video of this particular situation and you can see that at least part of the problem is that when it gets stuck the drum turns and juddered the wheels but slips and is not turning them. The first video clearly has a direct drive system to the wheels.

I had a look at the other video you mentioned and you are quite right about the drive. I can now see that those two machines have very little in common, apart from the number of wheels.

It was a bastard to translate, searches for "pennant" got me a whole heap of KGB rubbish
Russian is difficult in that you need to learn a new alphabet, as well as a new dialect. Makes for a fun DIY course though
