Never hung up any toilet paper in my dunny?...Did you?
This thread is simply commenting about a Newspaper article.
So, Your opinion of the article then is,..... that there is no foundation to it, and that you do not agree with the date quoted in the article?
Well then, we shall see what we shall see.
    Cheers, Pickles.

I have searched and have not seen an OFFICIAL release from Land Rover, on the final production dates of the Defender...therefore I do not believe in the foundation of the article. do you really believe newspapers? really?

I'm talking about THIS article, on this subject, which subject has appeared in a multitude of Newspapers, (More quoted on this site today) the subject of which YES, I do believe to be true, and so yes, I say, production will finish 20/12/15.
"Official", LandRover spokesman?:....Nick O'Donnell. Also confirmed by the BBC!
    Cheers, Pickles.

Current Land Rover Defender Model Will Stay Put Until 2017 | Gizmodo UK
The currency of the article does have some bearing. The Gizmodo piece is from 2011 and we know announced plans changed substantially between then and the LR blackout on Defender replacement information started around at the beginning of this year.

That said there was some absolute junk in the UK papers recently - the one in the Daily Mail was still harping on about the DC100 being the replacement - something which LR has said will not happen.

    cheers
    Paul
