Most likely the D1 body dropped onto a VW floorpan. I have seen this done with shorty S1's and the like.

I suspect it is a "Lowrider" with hydraulic rams for raising and lowering the body. More than likely a space frame chassis rather than a Dak Dak 1would not be 4wd for sure! Probably has a 454 chev in it! :P
