Your already a suspect if you are being interviewed in relation to a crime. At this point nothing you say can ever help you even if you are innocent.
Madeleine McCann disappeared in May 2007. The list of questions the McCann's refused to answer is from September 2007. At this point the police are no longer trying to find Madeleine McCann, they're trying to charge someone with a crime.
