    G'day Landy Smurf,

I do the write up exclusively at home - going to uni is a pain. I usually go looking for a resource which is close at hand at home only to find that I did not bring it with me to uni. With working at home I am learning discipline.

Oh and yes I am currently having a break!

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

In the, "there has to be an app for that" catagory, is there something that can block certain sites during pre-determined times of the day?

If there isn't, then this idea is mine, so rack off all you developers

However, if there is, you could block FB & AULRO, between say, 0900 - 1200, & 1300 - 1600. This would give you study blocks to work in, give you your reward so you can take a break, but still leave access to other sites that you might actually need.

I can do it with my modem, which is great when the kiddies seem to want to stay "connected" at all hours of the night

1/3 on Facebook? There's an issue right away. How do I address this diplomatically so as not to insult you, my two teenage boys and the other 500,000,000 (whatever) FB users?

1/4 playing games? I can accept that on the basis that its an outlet, stress relieving or some such. I'm mean.......I'm addicted to Lovett's Soduko and do it every morning.

AULRO...................guilty..............ish. I only read what interests me and ignore all the drama.

Nope. No good. I can't think of a way

"My stats are alarming"..............How does that BCF advert go again?

The extension I got is called time stats. It tells you how long you spend on each website per day/week/month.
My stats so far are alarming.
I have only had it on for a few days and I spend on average 8.5rs a day on the internet browsing.
I spend 1/3 of that on facebook.
    I spend 1/4 playing games
I spend twice as much time on AULRO then UNI
