good self admission there Tony, many wouldn't admit to there time spent on these bloody things.........might have a look at it myself......
I use google chrome and got an extension, which is like an app.
The extension I got is called time stats. It tells you how long you spend on each website per day/week/month.
My stats so far are alarming.
I have only had it on for a few days and I spend on average 8.5rs a day on the internet browsing.
I spend 1/3 of that on facebook.
I spend 1/4 playing games
I spend twice as much time on AULRO then UNI

i have a bad feeling about this
I was quite surprised. If you have multiple tabs up on a window at the same time it only starts timing once you are on a selected tab.
It is interesting to see how you browse as different things occur.
I would normally imagine in winter I would be on the internet more, I guess I will have to wait and see
I love it! hahaha.![]()
The Internet is great and a pain at the same time. I wish I could go back to uni again.... those were the days....
I am finding uni impossible to do at home with the internet yet at the same time it is impossible to do it without the internet
Me too
I'm mainly only on AULRO and Facebook, so a fair bit of time but not that much.
Increases during uni hours as a) I use our online journal database for assessments and I also often have to comb through current news stories, as well as having a facebook group for my course that is full of discussion about current assessments, etc.
Hey you have the stats, you tell me
Oh sorry you mean the whole internet, no idea![]()
Cheers Baz.

G'day Landy Smurf,
A system I use might be of some assistance to you.
I do some writing up on the dissertation until I complete an allotted section of work. For example, I am currently writing descriptions about each figure or prototype within the tome. Once I have a section finished and have it saved I flick across for a quick scan of AULRO.
I am using it as a reward because I am at pretty boring stage of the write up. The time off on AULRO actually provides a pause and I have picked up stuff I have missed when I was writing. The write up is more a process of elimination rather than inspiration at the moment. I just need to keep slogging away on it to finish this section.
Just make sure the time you spend writing the assignment is greater than the time you spend on AULRO and you will be laughing. It might work for you?
Kind Regards
Lionel
