and fire has restarted they are getting a water bombing helicopter in apparently
I am on train stuck between toombul and albion stations as power has been cut due to firefighting efforts
They are currently trying to finda way to get us to Eagle Junction station
Anyway for now avoid the trains on the Northside

On the railway side there is a huge (3 storey) promotional poster advertising the proposed development as "the hottest property in Brisbane" or some such !

Brisbane seems to have a tradition of this sort of thing - perhaps some remember the BCC's method of changing from trams to buses? As those too young may remember, it was by the overnight incineration of most of the tram fleet.
