    Hell froze over

    Hi Les

Enough of the lolly water mate, most of us drink beer here in Oz!

So did you manage to get some heat from that other site?

I saw where there was a record temperature recorded in Birdsville Queensland on the 24th of December 1972, of 49.5 degrees Celsius.

    And Hell has frozen over,
    Hellishly cold
In one small town in Michigan the snow was so deep a snow plough got stuck. What makes it noteworthy is that the place is named Hell. The 600 residents had to endure temperatures of minus 20 degrees. Forecasters predict an improvement but at the moment it’s so bad that Hell has literally frozen over.
So the predictions are coming true, it's just that the timing is wrong and the results are inverted.

Ha Long Bay was quite nice when we went in 06, but apparently it's getting alot more touristy, and a lot dirtier, which is a pity.
And yes, corruption up to the eyeballs, but it's not quite as 'bad' as it seems to be in Australia.

Lit the fire today for the first time since well before Christmas. And had over an inch of rain. Supposed to start warming up again tomorrow, and be in the forties by next week.
