This should sort them out. Might not do much for the lawn however....

I'm a Pest controller and yes, Termidor is the way to go! It is an expensive product even at trade so the Ebay price is not that bad. a little goes a long way!

If the ebay price is good - I would hate to see the normal price.

I can't offer any further suggestions for putting to the pilfering of your unborn lawn, but this seems a good thread to ask about this interesting thing I saw in some of the Black Ants nests at our place.

We've had some fairly continuous rain lately that's soaked in pretty well, and there's mushrooms popping up everywhere. Whenever there's been a lot of rain, the Ants get to work bringing to the surface any excess soil that has subsided underground in their nests. But the other day I noticed that they were bring up bright yellow crystal-looking material. There was no sand grains mixed in, it was straight yellow stuff. To me, it looked just like pure sulphur crystals, but I suppose it was probably some sort of mould or fungus growing in the damp. Weird thing is, next morning when I went to get another look, all of it was gone without a trace, not dissolved or blown away, but gone like it was eaten by an insect or lizard. What was that stuff? I noticed too that the flying ants were out and about looking to get lucky. Maybe the yellow stuff was a party drug to get the mood right for a bit of socialising?

One of the pics below was taken with a flash, showing the bright yellow colour well.

The ant granuals dont work as stated. However the Ant and Wasp powder is very good, using some here at the moment.
Was using diesel, they were simply rebuilding the nest.Seems I may have got them with 2 applications.
