Why can't we complain about it? A voice from the masses and people turning off their tellies is exactly the sort of thing they will react to. If enough people say its crap, they will look at the rules - it's happened heaps in the past - and one of the reasons V8 super cars actually started.
I've switched off, it's all too soft and girly now. 'Boo hoo - he scratched my paint work' or 'he went 1KPH too fast' - Give me a break!!!![]()

the 1-2 km/h over rule seems about on par with road rules these days![]()
If it is a ruling....or a law , then the figure quoted , eg 40kmh in pit lane is the rule.
Break it your'e pinged.
It's like school crossings....no leniancy.....why should there be?
I can't understand why drivers expect leniancy when they break speed limits.
Anyway...Ambrose....love to see him back.
True people need to stick to the rules but its how you apply them that makes the difference. Fabian followed Frosty into the pits, at the point where speed is detected he didnt seem to make any ground on Frosty so it makes you wonder how he got busted and Frosty didnt. Then their is the Supercheap wheel roaming loose in pit lane for a team penalty vs Redbull's stop man flattening down some tape and getting a drive through (i hate jamies wincup) but c'mon im with then on this one.
I feel sorry for Betty and her Merc team with no sponsor, she has been borrowing money to keep the team afloat and i dont see any sponsors coming on board with V8 supercars stuffing up the tv rights next year. Who really wants to put big money into a sport that will only be on free to air 5 times a year in 2015.
Oh and F1 is tuffed as well, Who want's to see cars driving around at 70% saving fuel every race?????
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

What if all the info you have at your disposale tells you you are doing 40 km/h and the powers that be have their tools telling them you are doing above 40 km/h...
I bet youd be PO if fined for speeding say 103 in a 100 zone and you were 100% certain your speedo said 100km/h
I think this sums up the delema quite well. Yes there are rules, but if to the best of your knowledge you are within them, what else can you do.
A simple answer maybe to sit on 38kph, but this is the sharp end of the Aussie motorsport stick and every gain you can make, no matter how small could make a difference.
I am sure I will have another 0.02c later![]()
