oh, I thought I read it was a nude 4WD muster......a bit late in the season for participants too, surely?

Hanging out with a bunch of naked beards is not my scene, but there is some interesting driving in there. I recall sitting the Disco on its chassis trying to get up the staircase, and the disco isn't short of belly clearance!

Not this year. Been there a couple of Easters in the past. Each time I have had the only Landrover in the muster.

Must admit, that when Kat and I drove around Oz some years ago, on night we set camp in one of the world's most remote places.....near (well, 60 km east of) Everard Junction on the Gunbarrel highway in the Gibson. It was particularly hot and humid. The sun was low in the sky, no risk of getting burnt, so we went nude......

I remember it being extremely liberating, and added to the feeling and mistique of being so incredibly remote. And no - a Land Cruiser never showed up. No one showed up. Other days/nights out there, we came across dingos and many camels, ....oh, and one day 2 scientists in a helicopter tracking camels....

We are not "natural naturalists" , but that one occasion gave me an incite (sic) into why some people are.
