I never got see them live when I was younger (still not too old), but they regrouped for one more tour after coachella. Was a great night!

AC/DC's Black Ice tour would also be on par.

The best spectacle... With an average performance (Happily free tix made it worthwhile), would have to be 30 Seconds To Mars' last tour. It was all just too perfect, and not raw enough.

The Living End @ The Metro
The Whitlams @ The State Theatre

Not saying Audioslave is better than Rage against the machine but you have to admit Chris Cornell adds a whole new dimension to the Rage engine room.

Tom Morello would have to be one the most innovative guitarist since the 90s till today.How did Zach's voice sound,has he still got it?

Jethro Tull would be the best. As for worst I can't say I have been to a bad one although a support band at a concert was very ordinary.

This band happened to be Paul Kelly and the Dots. This was very early Kelly and I have to say, as time went on, the man and his music is brilliant.

IMO Paul Kelly is one Australia's finest songwriters

Best, the Whitlams at the Termo in Albury, heck, just about any band I saw at the Termo was good, great close atmosphere, closely followed by Keith Urban and his support act, The Waifs, at Melbourne Tennis Centre. I thought The Waifs were better than him, but I'm a bit biased on that front. And I'll add Lee Kernaghan at the Deni ute muster, if only for the crowd singing louder than him.
Worst, nah, they have all been better than sitting at home wishing I had seen them. Although some of 'day on the green' concerts have been close!

Some interesting choices above but coming from the pommie land most gigs I've been to have been in the uk or Europe.

The only gig I've been to in Australia was to see John Williamson live performing at our local winery. It was raining and windy but John Williamson put on a great show

I'm going to cheat now , because although I believe this band to be right at the top with the greatest, I've never had the chance to see them live. But if I ever won lotto and held a huge party then I'd have to employ these guys to perform live and entertain us. I think they are brilliant

Best...hard to pick, but just about any Springsteen concert. If I had to pick, it'd be three: Dublin II 2012 and Brisbane II 2013 and 2014. Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Brisbane 1989 and 2013. Paul McCartney Stade de France 2004.

Worst? Harder to pick. Much as it pains me to say it, Bob Dylan in Brisbane in 1992 was a bit, er, patchy. Bob was incredible in patches but the band was pretty sloppy.... but Bob and band were far better than the crowd, so that's where I'm placing my blame. I was surrounded by idiots who kept baying "Play yer old stuff!!!" On reflection, I'd hate to say it was any sort of "worst". At least I remember it. I have seen other bands which were boring enough to not even come to mind now.

Interesting that Bob Dylans name keeps coming up in the worst column.

Ahh, Rage Against The Machine. There's something incredibly cathartic about screaming "**** you I won't do what you tell me" at the top of your lungs when you need it most.

The best... when our daughter was singing with the Australian youth choir, and they did a concert with the Vienna Boys Choir in Brisbane. The second best , when they sang with the Queensland pops orchestra. The worst? when the cats get together on our driveway, for the feral choir. They don't have a top tenor, Bob
