That the sun will rise tomorrow morning and set tomorrow evening is hypothesis.
We will find out if It's a proven theory tomorrow.
CO2 levels have been rising exponentially since the industrial revolution. Global warming is now a proven theory.
Methane is also a greenhouse gas.
CFC destroys the ozone layer. As a greenhouse gas, I don't think it is. In a later post, I will draw your attention to the this gas in relation to your next comment.
So, do you believe all governments get it right everytime? They have been known to make the odd mistake or two.
Carbon taxes and emissions trading are cheapest ways of reducing CO2, OECD says
The study draws lessons from climate change policies in 15 countries in some of the sectors that generate the most emissions: electricity generation, road transport, pulp & paper and cement, as well as household energy use. It underlines that while the cost of carbon taxes is clear – which is why they are easy targets for political opposition – other policy instruments entail higher costs to society per tonne of CO2 abated, in many cases, substantially higher.
That just made everything more expensive and Australia less competitive.
What industry did to reduce their CO2 emissions in Australia was to move that part of their industry off shore, usually to Indonesia. I could tell you how I know this but that may jeopardise my employment. You know, confidentiality agreements.
