Similar to the very first compressor I had back in the early 80s. I replaced the motor with one from an air horn compressor, ran for years after that (but then it had to as that's how long it took to pump up a tyre.

300PSI Compressor may be just the name, not a performance claim.
The description says:
A very useful portable mini-air compressor for use with a 12v socket. This is capable of inflating up to 250psi and suitable for use on cars, bikes and inflatable’s. Precision made and calibrated pressure gauge for accurate inflation. Comes with a 3 m
Surely even a tiny compressor can generate quite high pressures as long as the volume it pumps is minuscule.

I bought one.
Surprise surprise it was rubbish. And the first time I used it, it took about 5 minutes to get to about 30psi on a standard 29" D1 tyre.
But can it reach 250psi?
For $12 almost worth the entertainment value of trying.
Years ago I bought a compact compressor that was also very slow to inflate a tyre, but I have managed to get it up to 150psi (water filled fire extinguisher) left long enough.
Still running but has melted a few fuse holders along the way.
