Actually gents, it was the Mussu that had the rollover problem. Thats why MB pulled the plug on the joint venture with the Koreans.
It was one of the fastest 4wds in a straight line but could not handle the slightest curve in the road.
Cheers
All Jap Crap 4x4's, should be compulsory to fit these ... >>>

A problem - given that, in my experience at least, four wheel drive tracks do tend to have corners in them...
And surely Mussos were meant as 4wd's - they are just too plain UGLY to have been conceived as suburban "mums taxis".

130's rule
Hi Hiline, a mate of mine use to test drive 4wds for one of the aust., mags and going back a few years ago, he was in a group of 10 drivers that had 5 different makes of 4wds to test over a weekend.
By the end of the weekend all the drivers had driven all 5 4wds both on and of road and the Pajero was the one they liked the best.
My mate is a died in the wool LR fan but they didn’t have one on that test run so I don’t know how they would have compered.
Cheers
it was their center of gravaty was way out

Guys at work used to give me crap about owning a RR until we did a trip together. Mine was much older, moe comfortable and when we did the difficult stuff, I forgot to lock the diff and ****ed it in, they want to ride with me again.
The Jap stuff just lacks imagination to me.
Good for sheep.
I would agree that the Jap Crap swings in favour of on road maners instead of off. The fact that the Disco Stuck with live axles for so long shows that LR has always been serious about off road ability, however i cant fault my Disco on road, it rides and handles well, even during the 90's when overlander judged it 4wdoty, they commented on its on road ride and handling, saying it was good for a 4wd without independent suspension. Have you always noticed how Jap Crap drivers only pick on the warranty/reliabilty issues with LR's, they never pick on their off road abilty because even they know a standard LR s@#ts on a Jap 4wd off road, god they need front and rear lockers and a suspension lift to go where we go. I think the following land rovers attract can only be put down to one thing, they kick butt off road, simple. Matt

My new job comes with a company car (dunnydore).
I have just driven it 600 km on the F3 north of Sydney to Shoal Bay and a return journey.
I nearly died of boredom!
Everything was silent, automatic and cruise controlled. The only relief was fiddling with the trip computer to observe fuel consumption and distance to refuelling.
Can hardly wait to drive the Green Oval to Melbourne and back at Christmas!
