Give it time, i would think that second hand bits and peices will cost a bit to begin with, give it a couple of years and second hand parts for them should pop up. Matt

I am a manual man myself, but from what the mags have written the auto is a pretty smooth unit. Matt

I have said it before, but I will say it again. Unless the final design for the "New Defender" shows strong links to it's series/defender heritage.....IT WONT BE A DEFENDER.........

Yep will agree on that, but from what Mathew Taylor has said in response to questions on this very matter, it will keep its heritage, with that more modern flare. Matt

I don't think the flares need modernising. However, a little additional flair may help sell them.

Glad to see you are back Ron. I hope youre sons second opp went well.

Yeah a little more flair wouldnt go astray. However it would be easy to give it a face lift without ruining the whole Series/County/110/Defender look. Matt

The Defender doesn't need a face lift. It needs a more powerful engine, an auto option, improved interior, safety. I see no need to "modernise" the look. If they did that they would improve sales no end.

There's not much wrong with it.

Had a Jeeper looking at the Defender today, wants more space!
