Glad to here no one got hurt though...(except the insurance company! 8O )
Which company is it?.... be nice to know who do actually help when disaster strikes.... rather than trying to wriggle out of their commitment!

The vultures are circling!
Serious now, glad everyone is ok. The other fortunate part is your mate was with you at the time. As a point of interest a similar incident happened to an elderly couple at Bremer Bay about 5 years ago. They misjudged the crossing and within minutes the incoming tide completely swamped their car. Fortunately for them one of the windows (electric) was down because they lost all electric power and had to clamber out through it before the car went under. The car was a Suzuki Vitara.
mental note make sure windows are down in rangie incase of emergency i.e. like when I'm too ****ed to use the doors   8O
There is a nice pic of a bloke losing his patrol to the tide in the back of this months 4wd Australia or Overlander cant remember, but it is ammusing none the less. MattOriginally posted by maggsie
