thank you for your support eevo..
it is much appreciated!
OK, I'll be the first. Sorry, Basil sometimes in the heat of the moment, things get said. Probably why we shouldn't put that temptation on the forum. Hot blooded people , when their blood is up, well.... don't think too clearly, sometimes. AND, I bet you would be a great bus driver.... if you were one, Bob

One of many reasons why this forum appeals to me is the tenor and culture of Aulro...
Compared to other fora I've surfed to find info on 4wd and tech issues, by and large people here are a "cut above"... I am continuously amazed and marvel at the depth and diversity of technical talent, knowledge, initiative and capability demonstrated on all sorts of matters directly or vaguely related to green oval machines. We also glimpse others' ideas & outlooks, we share their happiness, we collectively commiserate in their sadness and dark times. The readiness of people to go out of their way, sight unseen and assist others on trust simply because of their posting on this forum... ! Amazing!
It's not just a "forum"...it's a virtual community with a "culture" underpinned by a dedicated bloke in a shed with a server and a great idea...
Communities survive because the members seek to support it through personal contributions and agreement to abide by a set of rules and behaviours.

Anyway ladies and gentleman, lets all move on. Eevo decided to become a subscriber and as Dave did I to would like to thank him for making that decision.
Personally I see Aulro as a big club that revolves around our joint interest/ passion for Land Rovers. Its the norm in most clubs to pay a yearly membership and that is why even though I am a Mod I have kept up my yearly subscription.
Again thank you Eevo.
Cheers,
Terry

Yep, and we appreciate the " originals". I hope you embrace what the forum has become, from those small steps. I also hope you realise we must all move with the times, or we all become irrelevant. We must never become stuck in the past, otherwise we may lose our future. Bob
