They are similar, but still a different style as well. That pic is not the greatest to show the detail, but they are actually dished slightly. Will try and find another pic if you like.

Vlad -- I got four additional wheels from a dead Defender ( ) at LVS in Sydney about 9 months ago.

LRA wanted something close to $1000 each 8O

Mine were $180 each (including wheel nuts ). The nuts will also set you back a fair bit, from memory someone recently was wanting $12 a nut.

Try doing a ring around of specialists. Les Richmond in Victoria had a set when at Wandin and I think he was asking something like $250 each?. I do not have their number, but I am sure it won't be hard to find.

Here is another pic of a 'boost'.

    And those precious wheel nuts:

So these would be a straight fit up to a Classic Rangie would they ?

The price is a touch steep but comparable to Disco steel rims plus powdercoating or sandblasting/painting.

If so I could use the steelies for off-road (a second set of tyres for the 'Fender Muddies ) and the alloys on the RR LSE.

They will fit a classic Rangie.

You can then interchange your spare set of steelies with the Fender.

I rang the guy up last night and he said they had the original tread on them(road tyres) and he wanted $500 ea for them.
Include shipping to darwin and that become's an unrealistic price for secondhand rims an tyres, but....
I'm waiting on a quote from my local tyre place for a set of look alikes that CSA make with AT tyres, if it comes under what this bloke want's for his I'll buy new. An I'll post his details if you guys still interested.

Yep it's so much of a copy that it's "available for LR fitment only"

    It's a 16 x 8 rim - this will fit in under a Rangie Classic without any issues arising won't it :?:

There's even a dealer local to me - he's ringing me back shortly with a price.
