See South Australian are sensable I think the only time you can hit from behind might be the car dooring effect- Ouch. I ride at least a metre clear of any parked cars.
    Victoria's anti-dooring laws

    Might be here [ame="http://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/images/stories/documents/council/SCEI/CarDoors/Final_Report.pdf"]http://www.parliament.vic.gov.au/images/stories/documents/council/SCEI/CarDoors/Final_Report.pdf[/ame]

Still thing we all need to be careful.

Called 000 an hour ago. Nice driving trick by a white station wagon in front of me Bus lane foot path and back in via a red light to the right hand lane was remarkable in so many ways! I was a little surprise to find him in front of me at the next set of lights. (He was a paid up 2015 Collingwood member)

Turning left at next intersection he did not give way to a van and it was sooo Close. The smell of beer wafted back to me, even the kids mentioned it.

Weaved over three lanes several times more before I called the police. Wonder if they found him?

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

If I had my way, backing out of driveways would be illegal.

I think I'll brush the cobwebs off my cycle and go for a scoot along one of the many cycleways around here.
    Cheers, Billy.
    Keeping it simple is complicated.

Walking kids to school can be scary on the foot path. At least four near misses with reversing cars so far this year. Might not be Illegal to reverse out but why people want to reverse onto main roads astounds me. The ones with high fences that cannot see anything to either side reversing onto the road with out any idea if they are about to be smashed

This is off topic sorry back to ****ing Cyclists.

Dust it off cuppabillytea, it is amazing what you get to see going a little slower on a bike mate. You see even more on your toes but another sick habit of mine- Jogging to far

Not laughing about the injured bike rider who made a mistake and clearly paid for it. The reporter who put "The truck driver was not injured in is either very funny or very silly

From what I've observed on the media, the later, not the former.
