That is not what people are saying.
What they are saying is that in some instances, there needs to be a bit more respect shown by BOTH parties.

If you were really as concerned as you're carrying on about being in this thread, there's no way you'd be sticking your neck out riding a bicycle on the road with 26+ tonne trucks.

Believe it or not I have a bike... but I avoid roads at almost all cost.

And yet it's not the 26+ tonne trucks that are the main problem. They're usually driven by people with training and some sense of care. It's the punks in 4WD's who think they own more than their fair share of the road that are the biggest problem for the average cyclist. With their muddies, their bullbar, their giant spotties, their double din entertainment centre, their bluetooth connection, they think they're worth more than anyone else. And some of these punks infest this otherwise excellent forum.

And before you whine about being picked on for driving a 4WD, yes there are cyclists with a similar attitude. Humans are like that sometimes and they could learn to share the world better.

as has been said on many occasions when this has been asked for, someone needs to report a post and give a reason why it should be closed and the Mods will discuss it - I guarantee that. No one has yet clicked the report post button on this thread so it shall roll on...

If you feel that strongly about it, will you be the first to put it officially to the Mods for discussion?
