    It was pertaining to Ian's previous post which I read as pretty general.

    You'd be surprised what parents expose their children to. As a child, I was fed eucalyptus oil on a teaspoon of sugar. Can't have been good for me but it was a remedy for some ailment.

    I personally can't think of any use other than a raw product for processing, but others may. Apparently some believe it to have cosmetic value, distorting the taste would not detract from that.
