    Hmmm......... my first thought after your very revealing clue was Wentworth but then you'd be in NSW so maybe Mildura, assuming that I've at least got the correct river.

    Tote wins the prize, near the Paddle Steamer wharf, the contraption behind us used to be a cargo barge and as the NSW border is the Southern side of the Murray River it is less than 100M from it, Regards Frank.
