Is it part of Cacoory?
Another view, same location, but more modern ruins about 100m south from the stone building.
I think the road going past this place is an iconic route , many here would have travelled it, but I guess this site is rarely visited as it can't be seen from the road about 1.5km away.

Is it part of Cacoory?
Not Cacoory, a lot further NW, we are in NT !!
All I've managed to ascertain from this thread is how much of this country I haven't seen...
My time will come though...

Clue Time , the iconic road that this place is on has a LandRover named after it![]()
Tanami

First pic looks like it could be from around Arltunga, not so sure with the second pic though.

Landrover Jervois, I haven't heard of that one ??
Tanami Defender - yes cjc-td5 !! , The place is on the Tanami Road ,
I was after the name of the place - should be easier now , The Tanami is only 1010km long but has few points of interest.
not Arltunga - but was a mine site , though a different metal
OK with the clue
Mt Doreen ruins - with Wolfram hill nearby I guess they were after manganese/tungsten
