No, not in the Victorian high country, not even in Victoria.
I was on a day trip out of Sydney when I captured this shot.

I guess there's not a lot to go by in the photo so a further hint ........
It's a western flowing river and, due to recent rain, flow is a bit higher than usual.

Guessing here, but that's what clues are for, right? The Yass river, somewhere near Bungendore, perhaps? The country in the background originally out me in mind of Goulburn, so I guess I could have been close. Maybe??

I am thinking the Kuwmung fire trail.....not the main crossing on the Kuwmung river , but the crossing I think at Dingo Dell ??????
It been years since I have been though that area.

Oberon ?

The Yass River is too far south.
The Kowmung River is closer, only has the one crossing (except for the gauging station weir not far U/S from the Burragorang starage and flows to the east so that's out.
Oberon is getting closer but need to head almost due north from there.

You've gone north as suggested and are very, very close.
You now need to head east into the hills and name the river that you come across, bonus points if you name the camping area as well.
