Going by the TUFF bulbar on the 76 series ute you are in either Bogan or Tamworth NSW or FNQ,

but the vegetation and lack of roof gutters puts you in a Tropical area, so FNQ.
I'm guessing Karumba ??

OK second photo counts out Karumba, not enough machinery to be Ilfracombe.

hmm thinking, ..... easy access to biscuit dippers , got to be something to do with the rocks

Here's another picture, this time with my citroen C5 in it at the same place.
On one end of the road you have a speed limit of 130 Klms.

Just reread the posts above, want to clarify something.....
It is down a bit and further west from both Chillagoe and Karumba....
From Ilfracombe it is probably west and up a bit....
