    Not the Goulburn,

    Its a fairly short river , but it has a name of power ,

    the location is popular with day trippers from Melbourne, pick-nick blanket types rather than 4x4 day trippers.

    Rover Smith, I think you mean Maroondah reservoir,
    Where I took the first photo if I turned to the left I would be looking at Maroondah Dam , I'll give it to you. Its the Maroondah Dam spillway.

    Its the Watts River , hence my clues power = watts and 'whats the river'
