    Only a guess because I thought it'd been pulled down recently.. one tree hill lookout tower near Bendigo? I think that's the one, has a fire lookout on top I think...

    As I said only a guess.
    A good guess because it's 100% correct. Anyway, I was last there in 2003.

    Google Earth still shows it as there so it can't have been gone for too long.

    Oh and V8Ian was faintly correct in Adelaide Hills as there is a "One Tree Hill" there, like other places around the country (I even found one near Ararat) . Strangely all of them are in areas with lots of trees.

    Cheers Ian! This one is easy so. I've reduced it to part of a well known place.

    After the town, but the event held there is extra points as is the name of the place itself!
