Paronella Park, that's more southera??

Just a quick diversion, AM, do you know is it possible to drive west of the Pyramid returning to the bitumen at Babinda/Miriwinni or Innisfail/PalmerstonHwy?

No Westera with a little southera Old mining town later mined by MIM ? and royaly stuffed more than it was


West of the pyramid you have the Mulgrave valley with a lot of old goldmining activity and i suspect tracks to support it
As it is now NP with no dogs I have avoided the area .There is the old Cairns track that goes from Lamonds hill down to the Mulgrave valley
but I have been only as far as Windin falls then run out of track There is another track takes off the road to the Bartle Frere? walking track
I have been about 6k down this it is over grown with wild rarsberry about a meterwide and washed out about 5 meters deep on abend where i had to back track from

I will add some more info after I talk to a mate that put in alot of tracks in those areas snigging timber but he like me suffers from CRAFT

Fireing range, mortars, artilliary and small arms ww2. Sign advising unexploded ordinance, found plenty of bits but none live The cisterns?were I think used in relation to the smelting plant as ruins nearby
